Paperboard Packaging Printing 
At J&J, we use our skills and technology to provide a more complete packaging service than other providers. Our printing specialists, designers and account managers will work closely with you to develop innovative carton, card and insert designs. Then our technology and skilled operators will ensure fast make-ready, tight registration, an uncompromised precision.
1. Beginning in our Pre-Press Department your project will be placed on our Proofsetter Spectrum Proofing Machine with up to 30" x 40" format capability. The thermal imaging ensures output of proofs that are calibrated to our VLF Trendsetter Laser Plate Imager.
2. Our semi-automated and highly productive thermal plate setter provides CTP (computer to plate) for large or small formats. A Creo end to end digital workflow solution delivers quality performance versatility and value.
3. When you’re ready to print your paperboard packaging, our high-speed multi-color presses, including a new 56-inch Planeta KBA seven-color press, provide complete color and form capability in large and small formats.
4. If you need it, we offer preprinted litho and direct print on E and F flute. In addition, full backside printing provides an added competitive edge for special packaging messages and designs.
5. After printing, we use cutting dies on a wide range of new Bobst die cutters. With conventional methods and new laser technology, we provide precision control over production quality. Automated high-speed blanking up to 56 inches further enhances production service and control.
6. Windowing, folding and gluing will complete your high-speed production process of empty package shells and ready them for the packaging process.
