J&J Packaging / Franks Industries:
Many of our customers know us as Franks Industries, which is the name of our folding carton division. Although under the same management and ownership, for nearly 30 years, J&J Packaging and Franks Industries were operated as somewhat separate businesses. It was when we added contract packaging and vendor managed inventory to our services, we realized that a major benefit to our customers was the ability to provide a single source for all of their packaging supply chain needs.
As more and more of our customers use the full menu of our services, we found it easier to speak as a single entity and reduce confusion. When we speak of J&J Packaging, we are speaking of Franks Industries.
Our Packaging Plants:
Located in Southeastern Indiana our two main facilities work seamlessly together to produce an efficient packaging supply chain solution for our customers.
J&J Gift Card and Thermoforming plant– In Sunman Indiana we produce approximately 230 million pieces of custom thermoformed packaging and POP pieces per year. Beginning in 2009 we placed our Gift Card packaging production in the same Sunman facility. Our gift card packaging is now the biggest of it's kind in the United States.
J&J Carton, Packing and Display Facility – Also located in Sunman Indiana, we print and produce an average of 311 million folding cartons, blister cards and package inserts per year. In addition, we contract pack approximately 600,000 POP displays, 20 million on-packs & finn-seals and just over 1 million gift sets per year. Our primary packaging packs nearly 1.5 billion packs per year.
D. Logistics Group and Outsourced Packaging:
In June of 2000 we were acquired by the global solutions provider D. Logistics Group. Offering its customers consultancy, software, hardware and execution, they are the market leader for intelligent logistics solutions in outsourced packaging. The trademarked “in-house outsourcing” is just one of the unique solutions pioneered by D. Logistics Group.
Through its various subsidiaries D. Logistics offers software solutions for logistic and outsourced packaging challenges in both business to business and business to consumer industries. The combination of J&J Packaging and D. Logistics yields a company that can offer a menu of services that go far beyond traditional packaging products and services. |
